various sizes and locations
Designing for industrial areas is foremost practical. Nevertheless even with limited budgets, we look for the possibility to make quality architecture. Besides that we also take on jobs that forecast interesting professional experiences. Our industrial projects have been true adventures to different corners of our profession.
In 2008 we won the tender for the commission for the extensions to and renovation of 7 locations owned by the Waterschap Rivierenland, a government agency responsible for water management and purification. The commission included all advisers, tender documentation, site supervision. It was the first time for us to hold an umbrella that big. Over a period of 4 years we developed designs and construction drawings for warehouses and offices and managed the works of all parties involved.

In 2005 we got commissioned the design and technical elaboration of a meat processing plant in Benin Nigeria. Besides coordinating all (European) contractors the biggest challenge was to find a way to make large parts of the construction work on site possible for local workers. Sadly, due to changing conditions at the client’s end, the project was never completed.
